SCCC-Watts Flourishes!

In March 2018, the Southern California Counseling Center opened the doors to its first-ever satellite location in Watts on the campus of Watts Labor Community Action Committee or WLCAC. SCCC hosts a screening of the documentary film Resilience

Marianne Diaz, Jonathan Vickburg, LMFT, Dr. Kim Cookson, and Clay Crosby, LMFT, participated in a panel discussion following the screening. The Southern California Counseling Center hosted a screening of the documentary film Resilience at the Arhya Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, February 8th.  Resilience, directed by James Redford explores the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the new trauma-informed movement to treat and prevent toxic stress.
