After years of working in the entertainment industry, Laurence earned a masters degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University and spent the subsequent three years as an intern at the Southern California Counseling Center.

At SCCC, Laurence cultivated a multi-faceted and integrative client-focused approach, employing the wisdom accrued from training in Psychodynamics, Relational Gestalt, Family Systems and Mindfulness.

Laurence also received training and certifications in several treatment modalities focused on trauma, including: EMDR, TRM, and CRM.

As a therapist at an Intensive Outpatient Program, Laurence has had extensive experience with clients who contend with drug and alcohol dependency.

Drawing from his experiences in the Arts, Laurence works primarily with creative individuals who seek a compassionate space where they can explore creative solutions to the challenges that face them.
