Angela Caldwell is a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFC 45163), and the Founder and Director of the Self Injury Institute. About half of her practice focuses on self-harm, while the other half is reserved for non-institute, more “general” cases of anxiety, depression, anger, and stress. In her non-institute work, she uses a practical, down-to-earth approach for individuals that is applicable to real life. Her clients usually see relief from their problems within 3-4 months.

The Self-Injury Institute is devoted to family therapy for families struggling with self-harming behaviors. We use a team approach with multiple therapists working together, so that all needs are met. Our treatment is designed to be short-term (usually complete in six months or less), comprehensive, and educational.
