Our annual Counselor Appreciation Retreat was a great time!
Each year, the Southern California Counseling Center hosts a Counselor Appreciation Retreat. We invite counselors, alumni, staff and others in the community to enjoy a day of learning, socializing, food, fun and games. This year, we had the treat of enjoying a presentation on "Why Therapy Works" by renowned psychologist and author Dr. Lou Cozolino.

On Saturday, May 20, 2017 Mark Mitchell, LMFT presented a timely workshop for the SCCC community entitled “Self Care: Building Resiliency, Hardiness, & Post Traumatic Growth.” The event was part of our ongoing Saturday workshop series for SCCC counselors, supervisors and alumni.
