LA Times features SCCC alumnus Jonathan Vickburg

The Southern California Counseling Center is proud to share the Los Angeles Times recently featured article highlighting the work of alumnus Jonathan Vickburg. Jonathan, who completed SCCC's Trauma & Resiliency Training, works for Cedars-Sinai Psychological Trauma Center to bring the Share and Care program to LAUSD schools throughout South Los Angeles. SCCC congratulates Outreach counselor Michelle Chong on her recent grant from the Department of Cultural Affairs, Los Angeles to bring a photography workshop for teens in the Watts community. "With the city’s four goals as our guideposts, the Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) is pleased to announce a program of community investments (grants) for independent artists to act as 'artists-in-residence' at non-arts sites of their own choice.
