OUR MISSION

It is the mission of the Southern California Counseling Center to provide psychological counseling to those of limited income, to develop and maintain programs that respond to the ever-changing psychological needs of our multicultural community, and to provide exceptional counselor training within a supportive environment.

With deep gratitude to our donors

Donations   Gifts of any amount are needed throughout the year. Make a one-time donation or give monthly to insure the sustainability of our programs. 

A gift of…
  • $100 provides 2 sessions of therapeutic counseling for individuals, couples or families in need
  • $150 provides a 1 month scholarship to our domestic violence recovery program helping couples repair their relationships
  • $250 provides for our teen violence prevention group for at-risk youth for 1 month
  • $300 provides therapeutic education and skills for those who work in gang intervention across our community.
  • $500 provides a scholarship to our Community Counselor Certification program, training individuals to become counselors and leaders in their communities.
  • $1,000 provides life-changing counseling intervention for 10 troubled families
  • $5,000 provides well-trained counselors for under-served Los Angeles public school children
